Amidst rising power costs, access to cheaper and reliable energy is becoming more crucial than ever before. The goal for our 2024 Community Renewables Program including a Solar Bulk Buy is simple – give homeowners access to affordable solar and battery solutions that save residents money and create energy resiliency in our community.
You will be helping Council deliver its vision of a climate-resilient and sustainable future through establishing a local renewable energy network that powers our community sustainably, and continues to create ongoing financial, community and environmental benefits to residents now and in the future.
Together we can create a people-powered renewable energy future and reduce our cost of living, lower emissions, and build community resilience.
Why has ShineHub been selected as the exclusive program provider?
ShineHub is a leading installer of solar battery solutions in SA (including the #1 battery installer in the SA government Home Battery Scheme (HBS) between 2018-2023) and has a history of running successful solar bulk buy programs for SA councils.
They were selected as the exclusive program provider for the Campbelltown City Council Solar Bulk Buy Program through a rigorous process that included expert advice and recommendations from other South Australian Councils.
This process also considered due diligence information, legal advice and a detailed assessment of ShineHub’s finances and company structure to ensure residents can adopt affordable solar with a trusted company.
