short on space, you’ll be limited to smaller battery but if you have the space to accommodate a larger
battery, you’ll have an advantage in terms of performance. For a family sized battery, the smaller
batteries are not much bigger than the size of a carry-on suitcase, where the larger batteries are 2-3
times larger than that.
Across the range of solutions, batteries will either be suitable for indoor installation (typically in a
garage or shed) or rated for outdoor installation (suitable for anywhere other than in direct sunlight).
Choosing to install outdoors will likely involve finding an accessible spot on a verandah, deck, or on
an outside wall under an awning.
